Coconut Walnut Date Squares.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    1. In a large bowl add the dates, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix together on the lowest speed until blended.
    2. Add the oats, coconut, and chopped walnuts. Mix on low speed until the ingredients are well combined.
    3. Press mixture evenly into a 9″x9″ baking pan and bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.
    4. Cool and cut into bars.

Ingredients

  • 13 ounces (1 package) baking dates (date paste)
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
