Healthy Nutty Cake Recipe!


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: whole wheat flour, almond flour, chopped nuts, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: mashed bananas, honey or maple syrup, Greek yoghurt, eggs, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold them together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once the cake is completely cooled, you can optionally top it with a light dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of honey for extra sweetness.
  9. Slice and serve the nutty cake, and enjoy your healthy treat!
