Homemade Chocolate Nut Bar recipe with Almonds and Pistachios.

Method

  1. Prepare the Nuts

    • Toast the almonds and pistachios in a dry pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly golden (optional but enhances flavour). Set aside.
  2. Melt the Chocolate

    • In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil over a double boiler (or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time).
  3. Combine Ingredients

    • Stir in the vanilla extract, honey (if using), and sea salt.
    • Add the almonds and pistachios, mixing well to coat them in the chocolate.
  4. Shape & Set

    • Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish or spread onto a parchment-lined tray (about 1 cm thick).
    • Smooth it out with a spatula and sprinkle extra nuts or sea salt on top if desired.
  5. Chill & Slice

    • Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm.
    • Once set, cut into bars or break into chunks.

Enjoy!
